During the intervals in the day’s programme, visitors can view the beautiful adjacent Cenakel Church, a national monument.

I have been invited by the Deutsche Liszt-Gesellschaft to present my book Franz Liszt in Nederland/Franz Liszt in the Netherlands as part of the ’44. Weimar Liszt-Tage’. This presentation will take place in the ‘Roter Salon’ of the Altenburg, the historic residence in Weimar where Franz Liszt lived from 1848 to 1861 and composed many of his most important works.
