Since hardly anything can be found in foreign Liszt literature about Liszt’s five visits to the Netherlands – he was there for about two and a half months in all – I thought it desirable to publish an English version as well. The present catalogue lists more than a hundred compositions. However, Prick van Wely made his name primarily as an author.
